Piggies in blankets recipe anyone?

Super easy recipe I made today, not really rocket science LOL, but I thought I would share it with you all. With the Holiday parties coming up, these are easy and can be made ahead of time, and don't cost an arm and a leg like the ones you can buy pre made. Sam loved them, and I did too ~ just put them with a variety of dipping sauces, and you are set for appetizers.

Begin with a frozen loaf of regular white bread dough (use homemade if you like but kind of defeats the idea of this EASY recipe). Thaw in a warm place and allow to double in size.
Preheat oven to 400 F.

Roll out the dough onto a floured surface about 1/8th inch thick, then slice using a pizza cutter into approximately 1 in. strips vertically, then cut horizontally down the middle of all the strips.

Take your little smokies or comparable tiny hot dogs, and wrap them up from one end to another. It does not need to be perfect, and it is great for those little busy hands you may have laying around the house. Sam wants me to tell you that he loved helping wrap up the piggies~

Line a cookie sheet with tin foil and spray with cooking spray. Place the piggies on it with about 1/4 in. spacings. Then spray the piggies lightly with the cooking spray.

Place in the oven, and bake for about 12-15 min, or until the look like this...

ENJOY!
