While browsing the grocery aisles this morning before skiing, I had no idea what to make for dinner. You see, I am making a conscious effort to mix it up a bit in the food department for the sake of my boys. I am sort of a one trick pony in the dinner arena, and felt that the boys were not really getting a round about selection. I am a baker, and definitely NOT a chef. I just don't like to do it...I would much rather bake all day. I was in the frozen food section when I came across this.
Doesn't it look and sound delicious? I thought so too?
OHHHHHH and it was on sale for $5.00 from $5.99!
I thought I would give it a try.
Look at the ingredients...Rotini, Sausage, Tomatoes, Red and Yellow Peppers, and it had this amazing marsala wine tomato sauce. I mean come on... you can not buy all of those ingredients for $5.00. I am not one for leftovers, so I would have wasted a whole bunch of food and ingredients if I had made this. It had a perfect amount of servings for my boys and I.
It actually looks like the meal on the package...AMAZING...HAHAHA
So thank you Central Market for making our fabulous meal, and we will be seeing you again~
Have you ever tried one of these sorts of meals? I would love different takes on this!
I leave you with a picture of my boys, who ate ALL of their new dinner, and really enjoyed it. I love how Eben is draped over Sam's legs, and they are both so ensconced in the video game de'jour.
