I have been Uber inspired with Pinterest of late!!! Re-invigorated for the the craft-a-holic in my blood.
That being said, I have a few projects I would like to share.
Number One:
An ADORABLE Owl Rattle for my almost 1 year old boy Hayden, who celebrates our BIRTH day on July 5th. Since he is a baby, we are not going over board with gifts, so I decided to make him a little present with my own hands. Handmade is better in my opinion (although, believe me, I usually buy gifts).
Here is my Owl, made using this pattern from Lovely Little Life (HERE)
I usually find other peoples patterns hard to read, but this one was very straight forward, well written, and I had ZERO issues!
I also whipped up some wall hangings inspired by my twinnie, to hang in my crafting room!
Then I decided to clean my kitchen, that entailed pulling my refrigerator out to get the art projects that had fallen behind, and beside it. I was HORRIFIED by what I found.
Seeeeeee...HORRIFIED!!!!
Dust, and bunnies, and magnets, and old cat toys, and bottle caps, etc.
So, I decided to take out my vacuum, grab that who's-e-what's-it attachment
(shown here)
And vacuumed the whole backside. See, so much better!
I believe I actually heard the fridge thank me ;)

I have just made an owl rattle for our new Grandson William and he loved it. Yours is lovely and I think hand made presents are so special. If you wan tp see mine I have just blogged about it! Maybe you would like a peep
Kindest Regards Linda
Your rattle turned out so lovely! I'm working on one as well, but when I started stuffing it I noticed that I can see the stuffing through my crochet stitches. :( what kind of yarn did you use and what size hook? I'm trying to improve on it, so any suggestions would be so appreciated! :)
Thanks,
Sarah
